UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) approved the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for the age group of 12 to 15 years olds if they pass through a strict assessment.
This can be done through the ‘COVID-19 UAE’ app (by MOHAP)
How to book a vaccination appointment for your child?
- Download the ‘COVID-19 UAE’ app:
2. Choose: “Book vaccine appointment”
3. Choose: “Residents, Workers and Families” and press “Book appointment”.
4. Choose: “Child 12+”
5. Choose: “Pfizer-BioNTech”
5. Provide details of your child: First name, Last name, Date of Birth, Emirates ID and your Mobile Number.
6. Choose the emirate in which you wish to receive the vaccine, and book an available slot.
Keep in mind that a second dose should be given in the same Emirate s first dosage.
7. After verification with OTP sent to your mobile phone number you will recive SMS and App confirmation of the date, time and location of the vaccine appointment.
