Most people do not know much about their health insurance policy until they get surprised!
There are 3 documents you need to have to smoothly go through the Healthcare system in UAE without BIG SURPRISES:
- TOB or Table of Benefits or Schedule of benefits – here you will find what is covered and under what conditions.
- TOE or Table of exclusions, sometimes General Exclusions – can be one document with TOB or separate -here you will find the list of services that are not included in your policy.
- NETWORK LIST – usually Excel Table, can even be the online searching engine.
For some insurances, these documents are public and online, for others they are not.
You should have received all three documents when you received your Health Insurance Card.
If NO – contact your HR or Insurance directly (email or phone provided on Health Insurance Card) to request for same. Keep in mind there might be an online portal where you can register, log in, and have all those documents there.
